The process

How I work

A simple process. You always know what comes next.

  1. 1

    Proposal generation

We start with a conversation. I learn what you need, scope the work, and write a proposal. You see the whole plan before anything begins.

  2. 2

    Contract execution

When the proposal looks right, we make it official. A simple contract sets the scope, the timeline, and the terms. Expectations are clear from the start.

  3. 3

    Implementation

Then we get to work. I'll provide regular updates and run substantive testing at each milestone. If business needs change, we can adapt, iterate, and evolve as needed.

About

A bit about me

I'm an infrastructure and DevOps engineer from Buffalo, NY. For over fifteen years I've kept production systems fast, reliable, and secure. I've done it for small startups and for large enterprises. My work covers cloud, CI/CD, Kubernetes, MLOps, and security engineering.

Additionally, I have a background in leadership development, coaching, facilitation, and team formation. In addition to covering the technical details of your project, I make sure technology solutions take hold in the social fabric of your company.

I prefer working on necessary projects tied to real business needs. Operating as an independent consultant enables me to do purposeful work and deliver impactful outcomes for my clients.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

A few things people often wonder.

Do you work on a project or hourly basis?

Both. We scope the work as a project, but I bill by the hour. Technology is complicated and business needs are fluid. Hourly billing reduces long-term risk and overall cost for growth-oriented businesses. A fixed price rarely fits for long.

Can you set up an on-call rotation?

I'm an independent consultant. To succeed, an on-call rotation requires a dedicated team of people. If you'd like, I can help you and your team onboard an additional set of 3rd party resources for a 24x7 on-call rotation.

What happens after a project is completed?

I'm available for ongoing support, maintenance, and training as needed.
